The air ambulance was called to Fakenham at around midday yesterday to help a woman in her sixties who suffered a medical emergency.
The crew provided assistance to the East of England Ambulance Service team and the Norfolk Accident Rescue Service.
Doctor David Clutton and critical care paramedic Chris Neil administered medication and provided enhanced A&E level care and specialist pre-hospital care treatment at the scene.
The patient was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital by road ambulance.
