Air ambulance called to Claxton after horse rider suffers back injuries

A man has been taken to hospital after falling from a horse in a Norfolk village.
The East of England Ambulance Service received a call at 11.00am on Monday to The Street in Claxton following the accident.
An ambulance crew and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were dispatched. They treated a man, believed to be in his 50s, who had back and chest pain.
He was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further care but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
