All Age UK shops, including one in Plumstead Road in Norwich, have been asked by the charity to make a display promoting the film, and to enter a competition for best dressed window.

Shop volunteer Carol Mitchell, 54, lent rockabilly dresses and records from her youth to create the nostalgic display. She said: 'We've had lots of attention, mainly from people who grew up in that era.'

Shop manager Mandy Hall said: 'We were pleased to get it just right. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect window.'

To celebrate the release of the film on Friday, Age UK and Entertainment One have launched a competition to follow in the footsteps of star Imelda Staunton and win a luxury, five day trip for two to Rome. Customers can get more information in the shop or at www.ageuk.org.uk/findingyourfeet
