Preparations are under way for a jam-packed week of fun events to get people in Fakenham out and about.
Active Fakenham is hosting Fakenham Active Week, a week full of activities for the whole family.
Kicking off the week is the second music festival which will take place on Saturday, August 18.
Ending the week is Ride North Norfolk cycling festival which takes place on Sunday, August 26.
The town's second music festival will start at midday in Market Place and run until 8pm.
Richard Crook, from Active Fakenham which is organising the events said: 'We aim to make this year's music festival more upbeat and it will feature many classic songs as well as some original material. There will be rock, folk and soul. We also plan to bring back the popular Rock Choir and as last year we will kick off with the popular Fakenham Ukes. You have to say it's an eclectic mix, even for Fakenham. We aim to promote the town to visitors and also to offer free entertainment to locals.'
He added: 'Last year was more soul based and this year we're making it more lively. We're hoping to have some local musicians in the afternoon and the rock choir we had last year is coming back.'
The festival was launched last year to help raise Fakenham's profile, boost the local economy and provide a platform for local talent.
Things not to miss this year is music in venues around the town until late, stalls, food, a beer and cider tent and possibly some fairground rides for children. There will be limited road closure in the town centre.
Mr Crook added: 'There used to be a similar event to Ride North Norfolk in Holkham which no longer runs. Ride North Norfolk runs through Holkham so we're hoping to attract people who would watch the Holkham event.'
