Accident on A47 causes rush hour delays

A rush hour crash on the A47 this morning has been cleared after causing a two mile tailback.A Ford Fiesta, Ford transit van and Peugeot saloon car were involved in a collision at Little Fransham, near Dereham, at 8.

A rush hour crash on the A47 this morning has been cleared after causing a two mile tailback.

A Ford Fiesta, Ford transit van and Peugeot saloon car were involved in a collision at Little Fransham, near Dereham, at 8.10am.

The road was closed for 45 minutes between the Sporle Road junction and the Station Road junction while fire fighters cut one person from their vehicle.

A man suffering from leg and possible neck injuries was taken to hospital and another woman was suffering from shock.

The man was taken to hospital and the road was reopened by about 9.30am.
