One person has been injured following a collision between a van and a lorry, thought to be a sugar tanker, which has closed the A47 at North Burlingham.
The road is closed in both directions between the Beighton White House and Blofield at the Main Road junction, with queuing traffic, while emergency services deal with the accident. It is also reported there is an oil spillage.
Police were called at around 10.20am this morning, and motorists are currently advised to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
Also on the scene are three fire engines, from Acle, Sprowston and Great Yarmouth.
It has been confirmed that one person is injured, but it's not known at this stage how serious the injuries are.
