A stretch of the A47 in Little Fransham has now reopened following an accident involving two vehicles.
A Fiat car and a motorcycle crashed on the westbound carriageway at Little Fransham between Swaffham and Dereham at 7.50am.
The road was closed between the Beeston Road junction and the Station Road Junction, while Highways cleared up the debris and dealt with an oil and fuel spillage, causing long delays for motorists.
Police said it reopened at 8.50am and traffic was flowing again.
The ambulance service was also called but there were not thought to be any serious injuries.
