The A47 at Little Fransham has been re-opened following a crash near the Canary and Linnet pub.
Police said a car smashed into a street lamp, at about 1.45pm. No other vehicles were involved.
A police spokesman said traffic was moving slowly, but the road was not closed.
The ambulance service attended but there were no reports of any injuries.
Highways England later tweeted that one westbound lane remained closed for recovery and clean-up work, with slight delays and the road has now completely re-opened.
