Police have closed the A47 at Scarning following a crash between two lorries.
Emergency services were called to the straight section of the A47 shortly before 8.30am today to reports of an accident.
Norfolk Fire Service dispatched three fire engines to the scene and the East of England Ambulance Service confirmed two ambulances were sent, along with support vehicles and the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
The road is closed in both directions and motorists are being advised to avoid the area.
Police said the road is likely to be closed 'for some time' and Highways England have said the normal road conditions are expected sometime between 13:30 and 13:45.
