A programme of resurfacing and improvements to the A47 in Cambridgeshire and Norfolk were unveiled at an exhibition in King's Lynn.
Drivers face months of lane closures, reduced speed limits and the closure of slip roads and entire stretches of the road between Peterborough and Norwich as routine works get under way.

The work will begin next month, avoiding the peak holiday season. It includes resurfacing and repairs to roundabouts and junctions around Barnack, Guyhirn, Wisbech, King's Lynn, Swaffham and Dereham, along with resurfacing of stretches along the route.
Officials from the Highways Agency said they had been busy with more than 50 attending the roadshow in the Tuesday Market Place.
People could give their views on the work. But Peter Richards, the Highway's Agency's technology assets manager for the east of England, said the final plan for which area will be affected when is still being decided.
