A47 in Norfolk re-opens after crash involving deer

The A47 was partially blocked for almost two hours tonight (Friday) after a car was in a crash with a deer.

Police were called to the A47 at North Burlingham just after 7.30pm to reports that a deer had been struck by a car.

The road was partially blocked until just before 9.30pm.

A police spokesman said no people were injured in the crash, but that recovery vehicles had to remove three vehicles from the carriageway before the road could be completely re-opened.
