Tailbacks on the A47 between Hockering and the Barnham Broom turn off held up hundreds of rush hour commuters this morning .
The accident, involving three vehicles, took place just before the Church Lane turning near Hockering at 7.49am.
One person was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital with minor injuries but no one else was hurt.
Police and firemen had cleared the scene by 9.15am but long queues were caused as traffic tried to safely overtake the scene on the single carriageway road.
