A47 closed near Norwich due to car fire

Part of the A47 was closed near Norwich this morning due to a car fire.

Emergency services were called to the scene, on the Swaffham bound carriageway at Keswick, at 9.45am following reports of the fire.

Fire crews from Earlham and Hethersett attended the incident and extinguished the fire.

The carriageway was closed for a period of time and PC Dan Taylor tweeted: “Please expect delays whilst emergency services deal with the incident.”
