Police are appealing for witnesses after a driver died after his car left the A149 at Potter Heigham yesterday afternoon.

The crash happened shortly after 3.30pm, when a grey Ford Galaxy, which was travelling in the direction of Great Yarmouth near to the junction of Station Road, has left the carriageway and collided with a bush.

The male driver aged in his 60s, who is believed to have suffered a medical episode, sadly died at the scene.

The road was closed while emergency services attended. It reopened around 8pm.

Norfolk police say officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, particularly anyone who saw the driving manner of the vehicle prior to the incident.

Witnesses should contact the Roads Policing Team at Acle on 101.
