A man was killed and four others injured in a head on collision on a notorious stretch of the A140 south of Norwich.

A red Vauxhall Zafira and a white Toyota Corolla crashed at about 11.55am on Saturday close to a bus stop near to the Dun Cow pub. Police closed the road until 3.15pm while a specialist team investigated and the scene was cleared.

One worker at the Dun Cow said: “I heard a bang and thought somebody had dropped something because it went quiet,” he said. “By the time I realised what had happened there were about eight people at the scene on mobiles phoning the police.”
