A lorry has broken down on the Thickthorn roundabout causing extensive delays on the A11.

Norfolk police said an officer had come across the broken down vehicle just after 8am.

A spokesperson said: 'The lorry has broken down near the Thickthorn Park and Ride and is affecting traffic flow in the area.

'Recovery is only expected to have been completed after 9.30am

'Until then motorists are urged to avoid the area as delays are expected.'
