There are big queues on the A11 after a car crashed near Thickthorn Roundabout just outside Norwich.

The vehicle hit the central reservation after leaving the roundabout on the southbound carriageway towards Thetford.

The incident happened at 7.40am this morning and has caused delays of up to 30 minutes for drivers.

A spokesman for Norfolk Police said officers are at the scene are attempting to clear the debris left on the road as a result of the collision.

The southbound carriageway was closed but reopened at around 9am. A diversion was set up via the B1172 through Hethersett.

Elsewhere, a vehicle had to be recovered after an accident at Swash Lane, Rackheath.

And the road was blocked at Ellingham Road in Scoulton after a collision involving a motorcycle, not far from Melsop Park Farm near the B1108.

Police officers were also called to Yaxham Road just outside Dereham earlier this morning after two vehicles collided.
