The A11 has reopened after a motorbike rider was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries from a crash.
The collision between the bike and a car took place around 3.20pm on Sunday, August 2, on the northbound carriageway towards Norwich between Besthorpe and Spooner Row near Attleborough, according to a Norfolk Police control room inspector.
He added that both sides of the A11 were shut between Snetterton and Spooner Row but the road fully reopened around 7pm.
The inspector said that the man who was riding the motorbike was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge with serious but not life-threatening, pelvic injuries.
He added the motorbike crashed with a Mini car and another car was involved.
As well as the East Anglian Air Ambulance, police officers, firefighters and paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service Trust were called.
Diversions were put in place for motorists.
