The A10 at South Runcton has reopened after it became “covered with potatoes” following a trailer overturning earlier today.

The trailer was transporting many potatoes, which ended up on the road when the vehicle overturned.

It happened between the School Road and Watlington Road junction - and the A10 was closed until around 6pm.

A spokesman for Norfolk police said the road became “covered with potatoes”.

No one was injured as a result of the incident.
