The pedestrian - a woman believed to be in her 40s - was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further treatment following the collision on Gayton Road.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said her injuries are not thought to be life threatening. She was conscious and breathing at the scene.
The collision happened just before 8am this morning.
The ambulance service arrived first with an ambulance crew and rapid response vehicle. Police provided further support at the incident.
