Couples preparing for their special day can find hundreds of ideas and tips at tomorrow's Archant Wedding Show at Dunston Hall.

The free event, organised by the publishers of the EDP, is one of the biggest wedding shows in Norfolk and will have 70 exhibitors from all over East Anglia.

Every aspect of the big day will be covered, not forgetting the all-important dress, menswear and attendant oufits, through to hair and beauty and the finishing touches of accessories and jewellery.

And, once the look is perfected, photographers and video companies, florists and stationers will be on hand to guide visitors through the essentials to ensure their wedding is exactly as they desire.

Even quirky extras that add something memorable to the reception - such as ice sculptures and chocolate fountains - will be there, along with less traditional wedding day transport of a helicopter and double-decker bus.

Steve Maddams, one of the main organisers, said: “We're expecting hundreds of brides and grooms to come through the doors on Sunday.

“If you're thinking about getting married within the next three years, then this is an unmissable event as you will be able to pick up plenty of ideas and inspiration from the wealth of bridal companies in our region - and it's a great way of finding out what's available and how to budget for the big day.

“The wedding industry in Norfolk is renowned for being very innovative and creative. The companies pride themselves on finding niches in the market for unusual and memorable services and products, and the show is the perfect opportunity to find original and unforgettable details for your wedding.

“We have organised several smaller shows within the county which have met with great success, and are anticipating that the sheer number and quality of exhibitors at this event, as well as the convenience of Dunston Hall's location, will ensure a fantastic day.”

Mr Maddams added: “We are also delighted to confirm there will be a second Archant Wedding Show in October at a further Norfolk venue; more details will be available in the September edition of The Perfect Day magazine and from local press.”

One lucky bride and groom-to-be could walk away with at least one huge part of the day organised and paid for by winning a fabulous competition to have their reception at Dunston Hall.
