A total of 340 runners competed in Broadland District Council's ninth annual Marriott's Way 10K race on Sunday, October 8.
Council chairman David Ward started the race, which is sponsored by Whitwell and Reepham Station, in Aylsham and presented the winners with trophies at the finish line in Reepham Market Place.
The race uses a small section of the 26-mile long Marriott's Way footpath, bridleway and cycle route, and £1 from every runner's entry fee was donated to Norfolk Trails, which maintains the path.
It also saw the first ever Marriott's Way Children's Fun Run, sponsored by the Bure Valley Railway, with around 40 youngsters taking part in the free, one-mile event.
Claudette Bannock, the council's member champion for sport, said: 'It's been great to see so many young runners take part in the council's first ever fun run. Perhaps we're looking at some 10k race champions of the future.'
