An empty shop in a Broads village is set for a new lease of life.
Acle Parish Council is currently drawing up a lease for a tenant at a retail unit on The Street.
The premises, which was refurbished last year, is on the ground floor of the Brian Grint Centre.
It traded as the Chocolate Box until June this year when that business relocated to the former Wilkerson's hardware shop next to Carter's butchers on Old Road.
Minutes of an Acle Parish Council meeting on August 28 state there were two offers to rent the premises.
One was for a dog groomer and the other for an RSPCA charity shop.
The council will announce more details about the new tenant once the lease has been completed.

The Brian Grint Centre is named after a well-known local historian and parish councillor who died in 2020.
The building, which was renamed at a special ceremony in June 2022, is a community hub which also houses the Acle Foodbank.
