An entrepreneur affectionally likened to Del Boy from Only Fools and Horses was found dead at a friend's home after she grew concerned about not hearing from him.
Matthew Peart, known to his loved ones as Matty, was found deceased on April 8 this year in his friend's home in Spencer Street in Norwich. He was 30.
An inquest into his death heard that he had been housesitting at a property while his friend was away, but that she had not heard from him since an incident some weeks earlier when he had fallen down the stairs and knocked himself unconscious.
On April 8, the friend visited the property to find all of the doors locked from the inside. She phoned the police after being unable to contact him.
Emily Boldero, one of the police officers who attended, told the court in a statement that after gaining access to the property, Mr Peart was found dead inside.
She added that drug paraphernalia including bags of white powder and a container with cannabis residue were also found inside.

Paying tribute to his youngest son in another statement read to the court, Paul Peart said: "Matty had many friends and was loved and respected by many more.
"He was an entrepreneur, a Del Boy type, and was really good at it.
"We always said that if he had ended up stranded on a desert island he would have ended up selling bananas to passing ships.
"Our friends would always say we were more like best mates than father and son.
"The last time I saw him, he gave me the biggest hug and I'm thankful that is my lasting memory of him."
The medical cause of Mr Peart's death was given as combined cocaine and ketamine toxicity.
Jacqueline Lake, senior coroner for Norfolk, concluded Mr Peart had died a drug-related death.
