An inquest has opened into the death of a city surveyor who died from organ failure at a Norfolk hospital.
Iain Bond from Raymond Road, off Reepham Road, died at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital on September 3.
The coroner’s court heard that the 77-year-old's primary medical cause of death was multiple organ failure.
This was due to, or because of, aspiration pneumonitis and a paracetamol overdose.
He also had an underlying heart condition.
