An art exhibition celebrating the East Anglian landscape has opened.
The show, 'Lay of the Land' is a free-to-enter exhibition featuring various art forms including painting, sculpture, ceramics, glasswork and more.
St George’s Guildhall creative director, Tim FitzHigham, said: “The East Anglian landscape is not like any other: glorious and majestic, secret and stunning surrounded by sea, giving and taking from it, basking in and reflecting it."
Some of the featured artists include Simon Carter with his paintings of the Essex coast, Victoria Fenn’s sculpture The Plough, and award-winning glassblower Stewart Hearn.
The exhibition is a collaboration by Contemporary and Country who curate pop-up exhibitions focusing on varied local themes.
Lay of the Land is open at St George’s Guildhall in King’s Lynn from September 25 to October 26, 11am to 4pm every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
