The trial date of a man accused of murder following an attack in a Norfolk town has been moved again.
Martin Montgomery, 31, has denied murder following an attack on Nigel Mazs, a man in his 50s, who was found with serious injuries, in Regent Road, Great Yarmouth.
It followed an assault believed to have taken place inside a communal area in a block of flats at Malakoff Close shortly before 12.10pm on December 22 last year.
Mr Mazs was taken to hospital but died as a result of his injuries on January 4 this year.
But last month the trial date was changed to September 2 after it emerged the defence were still awaiting a report from a pathologist and were not ready for the July trial date.
On Tuesday (July 30) the case was back at Norwich Crown Court when Judge Alice Robinson re-fixed the trial - expected to last two weeks - to November 11 due to issues with witness availability.
Will Carter appeared for the prosecution, while John Morgans represented Montgomery who did not appear in court for the short hearing.
Montgomery had initially been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent following the attack but was later charged with murder after Mr Mazs died.
