I had a little nut tree, and nothing would it bear - apart from pigeon poo...
A village pub run as a community enterprise wants to prune a walnut tree because bird droppings are falling into its garden.
The King's Arms at Shouldham, near Downham Market, has applied for permission to reduce the height and spread of the tree by 2.5m.
Shouldham Community Enterprises, which runs the pub, says in its application: "The walnut tree is in the small garden at the back of the pub and branches have now spread such that the usable area is reduced because of pigeon droppings and black discolouration when wet walnuts fall.
"It is also spreading over the back wall into the neighbour's garden."
Villagers raised £300,000 to buy and reopen the pub in 2013, after it was put up for sale by its then owner Punch Taverns.
