To celebrate the start of National Pizza Week here are five of the best pizzas restaurants across Norwich.

Brick Pizza

The hole-in-the-wall style pizza restaurant overlooking the market launched in December 2015. Since then they have launched a delivery service, a frozen range and a host of pop-ups.

There are 16 different pizzas to choose from with two added specials. 

It serves traditional thin-crust pizza baked in its namesake brick, wood-burning, oven.

The store itself has limited seating but the option of ordering to The Garnet pub next door offers more space.

Donnelli's Pizzeria

The authentic Neopolitan-style pizzeria located on Timber Hill is known for its authenticity.

Opened by Eric Donnelly in 2015, the restaurant offers unpretentious classical Italian favourites.

The restaurant even offers pizza-making classes so you can recreate the Italian favourite back home.

Eric's Pizza

The Hunstanton pizzeria that is set up in Yalm food hall and uses traditional artisanal methods to give you the old-school Italian taste. 

Their 48-hour fermented dough has a host of classic toppings including Anchovy and Olive, N'duja and Ricotta as well as pepperoni and spiced honey.  

Saporita 

This fabulous family-run eatery lies right at the heart of the city tucked away in St Andrews Hill. The shop focuses mainly on Italian street food and serves pizza, focaccia, panino and panzerotti.

The restaurant is consistently ranked among Norfolk's best on TripAdvisor earning the Tripadvisor's Choice award in 2022. 

Sicily Trattoria 

Having previously been a stall in Norwich market, the trattoria opened its permanent restaurant in June 2020.

The shop in Bridewell Alley 

Serving authentic Neapolitans-style pizza with styles such as puttanesca, capricciosa and calabria the eatery offers a classical taste of Italy.

The menu includes 18 pizzas and all dishes can be adapted to be gluten-free and vegan.
