Festive cheer will be in abundance in the Kirkley area of Lowestoft as Santa drops by for a Christmas extravaganza on Saturday, November 25.
The festive fun kicks off at 10am and continues until 7pm.
Arriving in his vintage car at 10am, Santa will be welcoming visitors to his grotto at 167 London Road South from 10am-1pm and 5pm-7pm.
You can book a time to visit Santa on Eventbrite by searching ‘Christmas in Kirkley’, or by phoning 07935 542760 between 9am to 6pm.
Santa will also be reading stories from 2pm to 3pm and 4pm to 5pm on a first come, first served basis.

Every child visiting the grotto will be given a free present and any child listening to Santa’s stories will get to choose a free book to take home.
Many independent shops in Kirkley will be offering special deals and giveaways.
A Christmas market will be taking place in Waterloo Road, as well as the Kirkley Centre.
Live music will be provided by the Waveney Singers, Ronan Williams and Liberty Burnett who will be performing at Waterloo Road between 10.30am to 4pm.

The event will also see the unveiling of the Kirkley Christmas Tree challenge, themed the 12 Days of Christmas.

Businesses within Kirkley have been invited to decorate 12 existing trees along London Road South.

People can pick up an entry form on the day from Santa’s Grotto or the Kirkley Centre and see if they can work out which tree represents which phrase in the song, The 12 Days of Christmas.
This challenge will continue until December 31. Three lucky winners will be drawn on January 4.
The event has been organised by Kirkley Pocket Parks Group (KPPG) and Kirkley Independent Traders, with funding and support from East Suffolk Council and Historic England through the London Road, Lowestoft Heritage Action Zone, Kirkley Poor’s Trust, and the Kirkley People’s Forum.
