A drone and police dogs were used in a hunt for a knife-wielding man near a primary school.
Armed police officers were called to Jubilee Park in Willoughby Way in Rackheath at around 10pm on Thursday following reports that a man had been approached by another man who was carrying a knife.
Eyewitnesses said several police cars were parked outside Rackheath Primary School, also in Willoughby Way.

A thorough search was carried out in the area using the police drone and dogs.
No suspect was identified, no knife was found and the informant did not suffer any injuries.
A police spokeswoman said all lines of enquiry have been exhausted and the case has been closed.
