Part of Thetford will be transformed into "a real-life Cluedo board" for an immersive murder mystery event.
The Ancient House Museum in White Hart Street is hosting its annual open evening on December 1.
This year, groups will dive into the town's history through the lens of Victorian detectives tracking down a murderer.
Melissa Hawker, the museum's learning officer, said: "It's something we like to do every year on the same night the town's Christmas lights are switched on - we do a different era each time and this is the first time we've covered the Victorians.
"When people arrive they will be greeted by a Victorian police officer who will make them his special constables to help him investigate a murder."
Guests will move through the museum meeting and questioning different suspects along the way.
Each suspect will also have a special Victorian Christmas activity planned, ranging from craft sessions to cookery classes and handling real Victorian artefacts.
Ms Hawker added: "Some people might want to participate in the full Cluedo-style detection game but others might just choose to pop in and have a look around - nobody has to stay for the full evening and they can complete it in their own time.

"The culprit will be revealed at 7.45pm in a real Agatha Christie style with all the suspects gathered in a room together.
"It will be one final chance to ask the characters questions and share their own theories.
"We're just really hoping people come along and engage - we love doing it."
The event will run between 5pm and 8pm.
Entry is free due to help from The Brecks Fen Edge & Rivers Landscape Partnership Scheme, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
