Two new homes on a busy road look set to be turned down.
West Norfolk council's planning committee has been recommended to refuse outline proposals for two new properties in King's Lynn when it meets on Thursday.
Plans have been submitted to develop land between 56 and 58, Wootton Road, in Gaywood.

But a report to councillors says the siting of two houses on the site would "not be in keeping with the existing built form of the area", where properties are served by lengthy gardens extending to the east.
It adds the proposed development appears "cramped and contrived" and "would not provide an unacceptable level of amenity space for future occupiers".
Two objections have also been received by the council, on grounds including cramped development, increased traffic and loss of privacy.
