A care home in a village near Norwich has been bought up by one of the sector's fasted-growing firms.
Kingsley Healthcare is set to complete the purchase of St Mary's Care Home in the village of Crostwick, near Norwich.
The home will become the Lowestoft-based firm's 36th property as it continues to expand as an organisation.
Daya Thayan, chief executive of Kingsley, said: "These latest acquisitions come as we enter our 25th anniversary year and marks the beginning of an exciting period of rapid expansion for the group.
"In the course of 2024, we will be opening four luxury new-builds, including state-of-the-art large nursing homes in Holt, as well as a boutique care home in Great Yarmouth."
The home, which is currently rated as good by the Care Quality Commission, is currently run by Four Seasons Healthcare.
It was last inspected in August 2021, but a visit to review its rating was held in July this year and found no need to re-inspect it.
The home in North Walsham Road provides residential, dementia and respite care.
