A mother-of-one has spoken of her delight after winning an international business award.
Charlotte Watson, owner and principal of Charlotte Watson Financial Planning, was the winner of The Women in Finance Award at the annual Women’s Business Awards.
The 35-year-old, who is from Tydd St Giles near Wisbech, said: "I am absolutely delighted to win this award after a busy year helping clients to understand their finances and work towards their goals.
"The support, messages and calls I have received from clients voting for me and giving me their feedback on my service has been fantastic and I am incredibly proud of my business."
Ms Watson became aware of the awards through a member of the Mums in Business group, a support network for mothers in the industry who went on to nominate her for the award.
She added: "They were so supportive and really genuinely proud of me. It was lovely to see."
The Women’s Business Awards features more than 20 categories including Businesswoman of the Year, Employer of the Year and a Diversity & Inclusion Award.
