The 1st Attleborough Scout Group has been nominated for a £5,000 grant to help it repair facilities at its scout hut, install new toilets and upgrade its hot water system.
The group is in the running to receive the cash from a Helping Hand campaign run by food firm Wall's Pastry.
Michael Holton, brand manager from the firm, said: 'We're thrilled that the people of Norfolk have got behind the 1st Attleborough Scout Group in their bid to repair the facilities of the scout hut.
'Working closely with the local area for 25 years, the scout group is clearly an important part of the community and plays a key role in a lot of people's lives making it a worthy nomination.
The winner will be decided by a panel of independent judges, and will be announced on July 17.
Other community projects can be nominated online at www.wallshelpinghand.co.uk.
