Temporary traffic lights are set to be installed in Shakespeare Way in Taverham this week ahead of resurfacing work.

The pavement will be resurfaced along Shakespeare Way from its junction with Taverham Road to the junction with Tusser Road.

The works are expected to take six weeks to complete and begin on or soon after Monday, June 18.

The work will involve replacing broken kerbs and the pavement will then be resurfaced.

Traffic lights will be used at the junction of Taverham Road for part of the works, and give and take traffic management will be in place throughout the construction.

Access to properties will be maintained during the works and disruption will be kept to a minimum.

The County Council thanks the public for their patience while the works are being undertaken.

The work which will cost £52,200 and will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
