Road closures in Norwich for Remembrance Sunday parade

There will be a number of road closures in Norwich on Sunday as the city remembers those who have fallen in war.

A service to commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women involved in the two World Wars and later conflicts will begin at 10.40am with a service of remembrance and a wreath-laying at the City Hall War Memorial.

At 11.05am there will be a veteran and armed forces parade from City Hall to Norwich Cathedral before a service of remembrance at 11.40am.

These are the road closures in place during day:

• 7am - 1.30pm: St Peter’s Street, Bethel Street (between St. Peter’s Street and the Forum car park) and St Giles Street.

• 10am - 11.30am: Gaol Hill.

• 11am – 12.30pm: London Street, Opie Street, Castle Meadow, Agriculture Hall Plain, Upper King Street, Tombland.
