A town centre road in Dereham is closed while Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service carry out repair work after a building partially collapsed.
The fire service were called out to Church Street at 2am and have been working on the building all morning.
A wall on the business, Cherry Beauty Therapy, next to The Romany Rye, a Wetherspoon pub, has been damaged.
The pub remains open while the work is being carried out and Church Street is closed to traffic, but not pedestrians.
Glen Roskilly, crew manager from Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service, said: “We don’t know what has caused the damage at this stage.
“A structural engineer has been out to assess the building and we are putting a wooden structure in place to ensure the gable end is safe.
“The pub has not been damaged and is trading as normal. The road will be reopened as soon as we have finished the work.”
