Norfolk police have warned drivers that an abnormal load, more than five metres wide, could cause delays as it is transported through the county today.

A boat measuring 5.5m wide and 27.4m long will be transported, with a police escort, from Bridgland Moulders to Hoveton.

The boat is set to leave Bridgland Moulders at 1pm and will travel along local roads before taking Rectory Road, School Road, A1151, Horning Road West, Tunstead Road and then local roads to the site in Hoveton.

Police have warned drivers to expect delays on these routes.
