Eight weeks of road closures on Rouen Road in Norwich to begin this week

This week sees the beginning of eight weeks of road closures on Rouen Road in Norwich as traffic calming measures are installed on the road.
The first part of the construction work will see Rouen Road and Thorn Lane closed on Monday and Tuesday. Traffic lights will be in place throughout the eight weeks and will move up Rouen Road as work progresses.
Below are the locations of other roadworks taking place on major routes in Norfolk this week.
•A140 at Stratton Strawless: Temporary traffic lights will be in operation until May 25 as Norfolk County Council complete resurfacing work.
•A140 at Stoke Holy Cross: Temporary traffic lights will be in place on May 27 and May 28 on Ipswich Road as BT carry out engineering work.
•All Saints Green, Norwich: Due to BT carrying out engineering work, temporary traffic lights will be in place until May 25 at the junction with Queens Road.
•A143 at Belton: Stop/Go boards will be in place at two points along Beccles Road in Belton as Norfolk County Council carry out engineering work.
•Earlham Road, Norwich: Stop/Go boards will in operation opposite Paragon Place between May 24 and May 26 as Norfolk County Council complete patching work.
•A148 at Hillington: Temporary traffic lights will be in place from May 24 to May 26 as Norfolk County Council carry out engineering work.
