Motorists have been warned of possible delays when £19,000 road resurfacing works get underway on the A1066 Diss Road at Roydon.
The carriageway surfacing will be undertaken on July 25. The work will be from the junction with Denmark Lane towards Roydon for approximately 50 metres.
In a bid to minimise possible traffic disruption it is hoped the work will be completed in just one day, between 9.30am and 4pm, subject to suitable weather conditions.
Whilst the works to replace the existing road surface are in progress traffic will be controlled using four-way Stop/Go boards. Access to businesses and properties will be maintained but some delays are possible.
A Norfolk County Council spokesman said: “We would like to thank people for their patience while these works to replace the existing worn out road surface are carried out.”
