A broken down vehicle blocking a busy junction on the edge of Norwich caused major delays for motorists this morning.

The vehicle was blocking the Martineau Lane junction by the traffic lights on the A146 at the Trowse bypass.

There were delays in the area as well as on the A47 on the Dereham-bound southern bypass.

Traffic between the A140 and A11 Thickthorn Roundabout junction was also affected.

The vehicle was recovered at 8.20pm.
