It happened just after 3pm on Exchange Street, at the junction with St Andrews Street.

Police were called to the scene but were unable to push the car to a safe place due to the car having an electric handbrake.

They blocked off some roads and put a diversion in place while they awaited for the assistance of the RAC.

The car has since been removed.
