Thousands of people are to flood to the city on Friday evening for the Big Boom Norwich 2017.
Fireworks will be set off from Norwich Castle at approximately 7.30pm and will light up the skies across the city.

Last year 10,000 people came into the city for the event and due to these number, the following roads will be closed in the city from 5pm until 8.30pm:
• Arcade Street
• Back of the Inns
• Bedford Street
• Bethel Street (from St Peters Street to Forum car park)
• Britannia Road
• Castle Meadow
• Castle Street
• Cattle Market Street
• Davey Place
• Farmers Avenue
• Gaol Hill
• Gentleman's Walk
• Little London Street
• London Street
• Market Avenue
• Opie Street
• Pottergate
• Red Lion Street
• Rose Avenue
• St Peters Street
• St Andrews Hill
• St Giles Street (from Upper Goat Lane to Gaol Hill)
• St Stephens Street
• Vincent Road
• White Lion Street.
Parking is available across the city and the Airport and Thickthorn Park & Ride services (route 501) will be running later, with the last buses to the sites leaving Norwich Bus Station at 9pm.
