A busy road near Norwich is set to be closed to through traffic next week due to resurfacing work.

The B1150 North Walsham Road, between Allen’s Lane and White Woman Lane, will be closed from March 12 (weather permitting) for two weeks as Norfolk County Council completes its resurfacing operation.

During the work the road will be closed to through traffic from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

A signed diversion will be in place.

Access to properties and businesses will be maintained during the roadworks and ‘businesses open as usual’ signs will be displayed throughout.

The work, which will cost £285,000, will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.

The council has thanked people for their patience while the work is carried out.
