Drivers could face delays as abnormal load is transported through Norfolk

Police will be escorting an abnormal load through Norfolk today.

The load, a deck mould tool, will be escorted from Dorset to Oyster Yachts in Ashmanhaugh at 2pm.

The deck mould tool is 5.97m wide, 5m high, 28m long and weighs 44 tonnes.

It will be travelling on the following roads; A14 Cambs border, A11, A47, A1064, B1152, A149, A1151 and local roads to site.

Norfolk Constabulary will escort the load from the A11 at Red Lodge to its destination.

The force tweeted: “Check here for the route to make sure it doesn’t impact your journey.”
