Man’s jaw broken in Norwich city centre attack

A young man had his jaw broken when he was attacked on his way home from a night out in Norwich.

The assault happened in Magdalen Street at about 2.45am on the morning of Tuesday, September 7.

The victim was on his way home when a man punched him in the face, breaking his jaw.

About half an hour before the attack the victim had been in Shoosh on Prince of Wales Road when a man, described as white with a shaven head, hit him in the face.

Police said it was not clear at this stage whether the suspect was responsible for both assaults.

Detectives would like to hear from anyone who saw either attack or anyone with information about them.
