It was a painfully familiar story of a defensive lapse compounded by a lack of conviction in the final third. Martin Olsson at least tried to inject some urgency, particularly in a desperately tame start to the second-half, with some attacking bursts, and on the opposite flank Ivo Pinto looks to have finally got to grips with the physicality of the English game allied to his natural offensive instincts. Nathan Redmond was nowhere near the influence of his previous outing at Arsenal but did create the golden chance spurned by Cameron Jerome inside the opening five minutes.

Norwich City Correspondent Paddy Davitt went for Pinto for his general application, but in truth, none of Norwich's contingent emerged with reputations enhanced in a defeat which pushed them closer to a swift Championship return.

The result as of 10:30pm on Sunday will be published in Monday's Pink Un alongside Paddy's choice.

The poll will then continue to run online throughout the week.
