Robbie Brady returned with a bang in a more advanced role to slot the close range winner which pushed City out of the bottom three ahead of Sunday's Premier League derby between Newcastle United and Sunderland.
Timm Klose was a key figure again alongside Seb Bassong in a Norwich backline marshalled by John Ruddy which kept a second consecutive clean sheet. Dieumerci Mbokani was a forceful presence up top while Gary O'Neil and Jonny Howson's experience proved crucial in the final frenetic stages.
Norwich City Correspondent Paddy Davitt went for Mbokani who battled manfully against Albion's muscular backline and set up Brady's winner.
The result as of 10:30pm on Sunday will be published in Monday's Pink Un alongside Paddy's choice.
